I really don't like ANY religion, you see. But religion isn't race. It's a choice. People kept being Jews after 1945, even after God made it pretty clear he wasn't that into them.

Most open racists do, because to put that much effort into being a shitty person is kind of awful.

I would say many of my relatives of the past and current generation I belong to had too much racism going on. I kind of forgive my dad for regularly saying words we aren't even allowed to use on USMB, because... product of his time. What he didn't do was make up bullshit studies to rationalize his own shortcomings. (And when he was being honest, he admitted that there was racial inequality in this country.)
