I'm firmly against abortion but the op was insinuating the US is funding abortion in Israel and that's not true

We give billions annually to a country that openly embraces abortion, universal healthcare and tuition free college while we remain trillions of dollars in debt. You don't see a strange irony in your support of that situation?

Show me the exact dollar amounts of US aid that go into abortions.

Let me explain AGAIN

If we subsidize them, we are in effect paying for it.
If we send afghanistan 50m in aid, and they use that for medicine or something, that will free up 50m for weapons and bombs and such. Its the same thing.

It is doing so obliquely, like the US subsidizes the rest of Europe's lavish welfare states, via them not having to pay for their own defense because of US shouldering the burden of NATO.

If we didnt subsidize israel to the tune of billions a year, could they afford to give out free abortions like candy?

Israel doesn't actually require that aid, and we are trillions in debt. I think we should stop giving money away to lots of countries, including Israel.
