I think you're a bit too optimistic, most regressives don't care that she broke the law, they don't care if she lied to them, they only care about advancing their agenda, by any means necessary. Just look at the ones on this board.

I was thinking the same thing. Might be the silver lining here. If Hillary had rightfully been charged and, at the very least, had security clearance taken from her, then the left probably would have put Biden and maybe Warren on the ticket. Biden is a goofball, but people like him. Better to go forth with Hillary and let her own nasty baggage take her down.
