SNL pulled this skit at the last minute, but it still has the usual Zionist Amen Corner (as Pat Buchanan used to call them) screaming bloody murder.

I don't think SNL has actually been funny since Belushi and Akroyd left...

As political satire, though, it was pretty stinging. Probably too stinging when the people it was zinging are the ones who control the media.

People tune in for laughs. If they come via political satire, fine. The writers blew this one, the talent couldn't save it, so they shit-canned the skit. Good move.

I agree, it drags. They prolly could have developed the same joke in one-third the time.
I don't see anyone "screaming bloody murder" in the article but who cares, it's comedy. Comedy's not supposed to be nice. If it were it wouldn't be funny.
