I am somewhat sympathetic to libertarianism.

Like them I understand that governmens can and usually do become toxic to the society to which they cleave.

Sadly most of them fail to realize that so too do most private power bases become toxic to the society they theoretically set out to serve.

The other thing that I wonder about is their belief that the Consitution of 1789 is suited to the society we have today.

Do they not realize that the kind of limited liability corporations we have today did NOT EXIST when the Constitution was framed?

Apparently they do not.
