SNAP benefits are about to run out. And she don't like it.
Reparations! Reparations!
Don't try to stand in her way, her cousin will mess you up. She is getting her stuff.
If there are food riots this will be 100% on the Democrats for refusing to compromise.
It's going to be interesting!
Money for lashes but not food for her kids
EBT doesn't cover lashes
And Schumer holds one that keeps the government shut down. That is not how compromise works
Republicans hold most of the cards but not all
Wrong. But that's what Republican media tells you.And Schumer holds one that keeps the government shut down.
True or false, the shutdown stops immediately if Schumer stops filibustering? Be honest.Wrong. But that's what Republican media tells you.
You’re asking IM2 to be honest?True or false, the shutdown stops immediately if Schumer stops filibustering? Be honest.

Or Ukraine. How about we pay for it with the 40 billion Trump wants to give to Argentina?
There's the rub. Government and gov code has grown out of control for decades. People get used to it, and they think it's normal.Under the Biden regime, according to Rollins, SNAP spending ballooned by nearly 40%, with millions of new recipients added during a time of record illegal immigration and inflation.
Worse. When someone calls out all these enabling handouts, the libs scream “waaaaacist!!!” when no mention of race was even made. There's the rub. Government and gov code has grown out of control for decades. People get used to it, and they think it's normal.
But then someone comes along and calls out all of this enabling and waste. People are so upset that someone upends their bizarre and perverted status quo.
Why should they have to use their savings when they should be working?Have government workers never head of saving?
Maybe its too late to teach them personal and financial responsibility that will save them from the current situation
But maybe they can learn from this to deal with future insane government in the future
DEMOCRATS will cave this week.We disagree. If Republicans don't end the filibuster their agenda is DOA. Its just CR, CR, CR, CR, CR, mid-terms.
Shit happens. That’s why responsible people save. You can’t count on your job always being there. Private employees know this; why should government workers get extra protection? Why should they have to use their savings when they should be working?
Union workers know they will likely face a strike wherein they don't get a paycheck. They plan for it, don't they?Shit happens. That’s why responsible people save. You can’t count on your job always being there. Private employees know this; why should government workers get extra protection?
PLUS, when I was laid off, it was a total shock. Upper management kept it secret, and then one day that laid off 10% of the workforce. And that wasn’t a temporary furlough - it was adios, chica,
In the case of government workers, they haven’t lost their jobs - only a delay of a paycheck AND they knew this was a risk every October.
They should have planned for this.
I would assume so, if they’re responsible.Union workers know they will likely face a strike wherein they don't get a paycheck. They plan for it, don't they?
