Just a simple post.....About skin color and science. Seems its mostly enviornmental. People who historically lived in sunny regions have more melanin and eumelanin. That makes their skin dark. They also seem to have less vitamin D that is more available because of lack of 'binding agents.' Blacks can be susceptible for getting diseases like rickets though. Lighter skinned people run the risk of skin cancer and a myriad of other skin disorders because their skin is ultra sensitive to ultraviolet radiation. They don't need a lot of sun exposure to build up vitamin D (with binders).
