Unless your name is something like "Running Eagle", everyone here is a immigrant.

Maybe don't get so hung up on national origin.

There was no "immigration" prior to the establishing of nation states that created borders and customs. Prior to that, people who travelled to various locations in the world were simply migrants or nomads, not immigrants. Technically, to be an immigrant, means that you were processed through immigration centers. As for our Native Americans, they were the first "migrants" that came to this continent. DNA studies showed them to be of Mongolian ancestry.
People that slip through our borders without going through customs, are technically referred to as, "illegal migrants" and there are actually federal laws against doing so.
If you go through customs, are vetted and obey the nation's laws you won't have a problem, unless of course, you decide to commit crimes, then per our federal laws, you're bounced out and federal laws are above local and state laws.
