NPR and PBS, at a minimum, need to have their funding from taxpayers ceased. These entities generate millions from donations. Taking taxpayer money for Left Wing propaganda is an insult.
They give the most even handed reporting of the news, with the least disrespect of the President, of any of the major news outlets. They have a left leaning slant in the issues they choose to cover, but I have never heard a single one of them foaming at the mouth about the President or Republicans, not even their guests.
You would be shooting the wrong folks here.
I would suggest that conservatives have never actually heard NPR or PBS and merely repeat the HATE and LIES that limbaugh et al feed them
Never would I have imagined that we would break up into two completely separate news & informational universes like this.
Never would I have imagined that anyone would be so stupid and uneducated to think that "two parallel universes" exist to begin with.
You literally must believe that reality began the day your favorite propaganda news network, aimed for those of a 6th grade education was aired - reading even a single book from a liberal, conservative, or any other POV would burst 99% of the imaginary universe you inhabit.
I once had the honor of speaking with a local judge (who I shared an interest in Steven Pinker books with), and she strongly implied that it's not really any "open secret" to pretty much anyone of any actual learning that the media is really just a substitute for reading books.
They come up with stories and "facts" that simply run parallel to reality, absolutely ignoring readily-available information.
Not sure how you're supposed to keep a republic together when it operates under separate realities.
.
The only two separate "realties' are those who read books, whether historical, scientific, cultural, or otherwise - and those who were naïve and uneducated enough to believe anything on their favorite media network was ever relevant to anyone who's education and reading level didn't stop at 6th grade.
I've met morons like you who are so simplistic in your thinking that you don't even know basics, such as the difference between a "scientific theory" or a "conspiracy theory", or a philosophical theory (such as Utilitarianism per Betham and Mill) and seem apparently ignorant or dishonest of the reality that not all conspiracy theories are "bad", or "wrong", or haven't turned out to be true.
