I posted the spike occurred BEFORE the protests.
The protests resulted in cops and right wingers killing protesters, not the other way around dumbass. Don’t believe me?
Here are deaths attributed to the protests you call riots with a link at the bottom.
- A man on his knees murdered by police in Vallejo because he had a hammer.
- A restaurant owner in Louisville shot by police accidentally when they didn’t identify themselves
- Police shooting a protester who was allegedly “going for a gun” he didnt have in Las Vegas
- Right wing driver mowed down a protester in Bakersfield and given a smoke by the cops
- A right wing driver mowed down another protester in Austin
- Driver mowed down a protester in Seattle
- 2 murders after the protests ended by outside agitators in Cicero
- A person run over by a FedEx truck unintentionally in St Louis
- A shooting not connected to the protests in Davenport
- A robbery in Kansas City unconnected
- A nearby fight unconnected in Detroit
- A fight in Indianapolis unconnected
- And most of the rest are people looting or stopping looting.
- There were about 3 that were by a person connected to the movement that looked politically connected if you count people arguing unless you have better information.

Analysts identified 73 instances in which anchors, guests, and reporters cited the manipulated crime statistics for which Pulliam was suspended. MSNBC was responsible for 44 such instances, while CNN aired the remaining 29.
The only individual on either network who acknowledged the dubious origin of the data was conservative CNN contributor Scott Jennings, during a panel discussion in the 10:00 p.m. hour on August 11.
But while Pulliam’s alleged malfeasance was nearly entirely absent from the coverage, talking heads were eager to mention another topic in their discussion of crime in Washington: January 6.
