Should this doctor have been deported out of the country?

where is the evidence she didn't have an immigration hearing?
Seriously....

She has legal representation... They have made clear they have not been at one...

Immigration Hearing would have court notes which would be released publicly..
So we would have to have secret immigration courts...

It is becoming clear that the Trump Admin didn't want to go in front of a Judge with this case. To me that is worrying...

For starters, if she wishes, she should be flown back to US on CBP dime and presented in court... If the DOJ don't have evidence, consider bail proceedings with a direct order to ICE not to arrest her...

Sorry but CBP act pretty bad here if they ignored a court order..

Many are going to have court cases that they are going to end up winning.

They seem to want trial by media... (their media)
Knowing that like the crew here they will say 'your accusations are enough, lets skip due process'..

It sad and dangerous that these people can't seem to understand that today it is tem, in future it could be you.

My accusations?

So, it appears that she is being deported for lending material support to a terrorist organization; specifically, she left the country to attend the funeral of a dead terrorist.

In effect, she was NOT deported but denied reentry into the United States.

They filed a habeas petition in Federal Court on Friday, they didn't say anything in the about immigration court. She was denied entry into the united states at the gate due to what was discovered on her person and sent home before anything from the US District Court was given to them.

What 'Material Support' did she give?

Could you explain, did she give them money? Attending a funeral is not material support as I would understand it...

If she did give 'Material Support', why was she arrested and charged with a crime... Why are the Trump Admin letting terrorists go free?

Read the timeline of events...

The order to stop her being sent was issued at 7:18pm, plane took off at 7:58pm.....

Let's get it all into court and see what happened... I am sure if the CBP officers ignored the law like her lawyer implied we can expect some very serious repercussions... I am sure their is CCTV all over that airport.

Yeah, the Court issued the Order, but it has to make it to the officers. It's not like the officers have magic link to the Federal Court.

Court for what at this point? She is not in federal custody, they can't bring the court her body.

I think this is what the Judge wants to address first...

I think the magic link court be a phone or even email... Direct communication has been pretty magic for a while...

As I said... Get everyone into court and see what happened...

There very much could be a good case and if so... Why doesn't the DOJ want to make it?

Seems Trump uses every legal angle when he is in court but wants to negates others...

Rasha Alawieh, a Brown professor and doctor, has been deported back to Lebanon after U.S. Customs and Border Protection found photos and videos of her supporting Hezbollah on her phone. She also attended Nasrallah’s funeral and had her pictures taken with Iran's supreme leader. Of course, she tried to delete those photos which they recovered.

What say you democrats?

Naturally, when the story first broke the media failed to relay any of that. No, they just pretended that Trump hates all Muslims.
The Government should have NOT interfered with her in any way shape or form.

The ONLY entity in the Middle East which is a STate Sponsor of Terrorism is Israel.

UN finds Israel guilty of genocidal act in Gaza, expert wants world to act

Really? What line does the Court have to Logan Airport at these agents?

Get who in Court? The petention is moot at this point since she is not in custody. She's not in DOJ custody. They don't have her, so the Habeas petention is moot. Her immigration attorney can make a case for her in immigration court. When did Trump file a habeas petention?? what are you talking about?

You do understand these are two different things?

Can you even accept the fact that attending the funeral of an enemy of the United States is material support or not?

Or are you just of the mindset that all terrorists and their supporters should be granted entry into our country?

Do you even believe the State Department has the right and authority to deny entry into the United States? The judgment to make that choice rests solely with the State Department.

If you cannot, then there is no more continuing of this conversation as you support enemies of the United States.

They can explain that to the Judge....

Something like
Your Honor we were told that you were looking at the case by her lawyer earlier. We jknew where she was and she was trying to contact us but we thought it best to ignore her lawyer...
So we totally went against your court order because we didn't know about.

Can try that with the Judge... I think Judges don't like law enforcement officers ignoring the courts...

Nope... That is not Material Support...

Defination: (US, law) (in the context of support for terrorism)Any property, or service, including currency or monetary instruments or financial securities, financial services, lodging, training, expert advice or assistance, safe houses, false documentation or identification, communications equipment, facilities, weapons, lethal substances, explosives, personnel, and transportation, except medicine or religious materials.

I said. She has the right to due process...
It is the MAGA here that wants to deny her due process...
It seem you are afraid of facts and evidence.
If you cannot, then there is no more continuing of this conversation as you support enemies of the United States.
Again, I am the one that wants the truth...
Trump Admin wants no evidence and just deport.
Seriously, is it a good idea just to let terrorists go? No investigation....

Why do you want to get rid of due process? What are you afraid off?

You are arguing, like a five year old, just for the sake of arguing.

We have the right to deny people entry into the United States. Providing material support to our enemies and then deleting that evidence is proof that you are unfit to enter the United States.

I don't know what it is with the left these days, but the defense of terrorists, their supporters, and their ideology is showing proof of being unhinged.

Apparently this isn't an immigration matter. She's not an immigrant. She is a Lebanese national here on a visa. She hasn't applied for citizenship nor asylum. The issue of the visa has nothing to do with courts. This is a decision of the state department. which is final.

She wasn't deported. She was denied re-entry into The United States because she's a terrorist supporter. And yes, that was the right thing to do.
