As far as the OP's question, no, race has never mattered to me. I have lived and worked with pretty much every race, creed, and sexual orientation on the planet and it has never been an issue. Nor should it. I judge the person by their ethics and personal abilities. If a person is a murderer or other vile criminal I don't like them whether they are white, red, green, purple or yellow.

I think race is a magnetic sort of thingie...we feel a "pull" towards or away from people we resemble. Rational people resist this...irrational people celebrate it.

Race is real. Genetically, races are big extended families. It makes complete evolutionary sense to feel greater kinship with racial members than others. Study after study shows that people communicate better with -- and sympathize more deeply with (really, empathize is a better word) -- members of their own race. It's the same pull a mother feels toward her child -- it's her own flesh and blood, so she's quite rational to care for her children more than a stranger's. In fact, if she abandoned her own children to care for someone else's, we'd call her nuts.

And I should point out that nobody EVER puts down NON-WHITES for wanting to be with their own group. Black fraternities, black interest groups, black churches... all this is just fine and dandy.

I would not say I going around blaming everyone else, I don't. I make the best of may situation by any means I feel that I can utilize. I do put the blame where it is due.
History has realized also that neither the White west Capitalism, or the Communism of
Russia and China is doing the world any good. These are political and societal systems
created by White men, not black men, White Men.!
