Should LGBT Be Outlawed ?

Example : if 2 guys are sitting on a park bench, in full public view, and kissing each other, shouldn't they be arrested and jailed ?

Nope.

Nope. In the USA you are free to pursue happiness.

Not just 'hit 'em with rocks'.......KILL 'em with rocks.#

Personally, between you and me, I think that is somewhat harsh for teenagers just experimenting with that lusty stuff.
But so sayeth the good ol' book of Deuteronomy.
One of my favs in that old book of books.

#And notably, the male part of that lusty stuff gets no rocks headed his way! WTF! What's good for the goose should be good for...........
Is anyone calling for stoning teenage girls?

No?

Then you can probably stop talking about it. You hate Christians, we get it.

That's because you're a straight guy. That's not unusual, but no kissing on the park bench would have to apply to heteros too.
No, because the "no kissing" is not against kissing, It's against queer kissing.

Your Rights end at my nose. So long as you don't try and bend it, what you do is your business.
Your rights end at my eyeballs. So long as you don't disturb me, I'm fine.

That's all great but does not mean freedoms can be trampled because of religion. And I'm a lifelong Christian fully against any theological ideas being made into law about what 2 consenting adults choose to do? Are you going to outlaw me from flying my Swedish flag?
I have no thoughts in this thread regarding religion.

There is no right to not be offended.
FALSE! I myself was surprised (about 15 yrs ago) to find out that not only is there a right (at least here in Florida) for seniors over 60 to not be offended, but that right is protected BY LAW (Florida Statute 825.102).

And that law doesn't play games. Violation of it is a 3rd degree FELONY, punishable by 5 years in a state prison, with dozens of people serving time right now, for inflicting "psychological injury" on someone over 60.

825.102 Abuse, aggravated abuse, and neglect of an elderly person or disabled adult; penalties.—
(1) “Abuse of an elderly person or disabled adult” means:
(a) Intentional infliction of physical or psychological injury upon an elderly person or disabled adult;
(b) An intentional act that could reasonably be expected to result in physical or psychological injury to an elderly person or disabled adult;
(c) Active encouragement of any person to commit an act that results or could reasonably be expected to result in physical or psychological injury to an elderly person or disabled adult; or
(d) Intentionally, and without lawful authority, isolating or restricting access of an elderly person or a disabled adult to family members for any length of time which could reasonably be expected to result in physical or psychological injury to the elderly person or disabled adult, or with the intent to promote, facilitate, conceal, or disguise some form of criminal activity involving the person or property of the elderly person or disabled adult. It is a defense to a violation of this paragraph that the defendant had reasonable cause to believe that his or her action was necessary to protect the elderly person or disabled adult from danger to his or her welfare.

None of those apply to seeing gay people in public.

If a law meant to protect seniors applies to you, you should have grown the hell up decades ago.

Being gay should not be illegal, it should also not be forced on everyone as a "normal" human condition, because it's not normal, it is a mental aberration.

(c) Active encouragement of any person to commit an act that results or could reasonably be expected to result in physical or psychological injury to an elderly person or disabled adult; or
Seeing 2 fool men kissing each other out in public (ex. on a park bench) certainly qualifies as "psychological injury", as it is disturbing (to say the least) to any sane person.

The only difference between those 60 & older, and younger folks, is that the older ones are covered by 825.102, and the younger ones are not.
Ho hum. 😐
