It is clear that the Palestinians, PLO or Hamas, never intended to make peace with Israel, so the will never stop trying to kill Jews, but because of the strong IDF presence in Judea and Samaria, it is not possible for them to launch strong attacks from those areas, and once Israel reoccupies Gaza and destroys Hamas, a strong IDF presence in Gaza will prevent the Palestinians from launching strong attacks from there.
