Should an ideological purity test be applied to federal employees?

Would you trump supporters object if you learned Biden had compiled a list of federal employees earmarked for termination based on the employee's views regarding gun control?
The arrogance of this is pretty amazing.

They're trying to destroy our institutions and build them back up in their own image. Theirs only, because they figger they have all the answers. And they're not hiding it. They know a large swath of the country doesn't usually pay attentionn to this kind of thing.

You should hear the shit that Kamala wants to do. Oh wait, she doesn't tell us what horrors await us for her administration.
So.........they are your imagination.

Among the employees’ actions cited by the group are posts celebrating the legalization of same-sex marriage or lauding the contributions and successes of undocumented immigrants, as well as donations as little as $10 to Democratic candidates.
I'm glad you brought up illegal immigration. If someone is aiding or encouraging illegals, they should not only be fired, but they should get a "vacation" at one of our fine government facilities.

You folks want to create scenarios to justify firings so badly (so does trump) you just can't stick to the question.

google.com

Be sure to search for the "DEI Statement" for hiring in Univesity.
"Hell, for Democrats, you need to sign loyalty oaths just to teach in a University."

Loyalty to who?

I DID reply to the question, dumbass.

If a federal employee engages in illegal actions on the job (like aiding or harboring illegals), federal law should be enforced.

Fines and prison time (along with the loss of their job) are appropriate.

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S PLAN TO SHATTER THE DEEP STATE AND RETURN POWER TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

The question trumples should be asking themselves is whether trump actually intends to "return power to the American people" or whether he intends to enhance his own power?

BTW, the deep state is a fiction.

We have the Hatch Act, and it should be vigorously enforced with respect to GS employees (not appointees).

The "problem," such as it is, is that people used to go to work for the Government (at all levels) was because they couldn't get a good job anywhere else, they wanted a job with zero stress, great benefits, and an early retirement. They were mediocre, but they worked out Ok. Now people go to work for the Federal government because they want to rule the world, and they are 90% Leftist.

So you have bureaucrats who either ignore or slow-walk Republican directives and initiatives, just biding their time until a Democrat comes to power.

That ain't right.

Not appointees?

Probe finds Trump officials repeatedly violated Hatch Act

This has nothing to do with McCarthy, even though he turned out to be absolutely correct.

What it does have to do with is people willing to actively undermine, from within the system, the legally elected leadership of our country.

This is the very heart of what you clowns term, "Democracy" which is in fact, the working of our Republic.

This is akin to Biden signing an EO giving gays the right to marriage and then the employees that cover that aspect of government refusing to hand out marriage licenses.
This is not the same at all. If an employee takes issue with and refuses to comply with policy it becomes a court matter.
