Thanks for the additional info as i know nothing about the Nazi party other than the fact that it is a legal political party in the USA , just like the dems are legal Joeb !!
The Nazis shouldn't be legal. That's the point.
Yes and no,

1. If ISIS or Al Qaeda is declared an enemy of the State, then yes, funding such a group or participating (not just labels but actual collusion or action) can count as treason and abetting the enemy.
But nobody can be automatically banned by a LABEL. LABELs are not legal or illegal.
If so, there could be "guilt by association" whether you committed a crime or not.
That's why the courts had to PROVE that Elton Simpson had actually committed a crime before they could deprive him of liberty. The burden of PROOF is on the accuser, not the accused.
You don't assume guilt by LABEL and then force the person to prove their innocence.
That is why the US is so proud of the IDEAL that our legal system was based on that takes the high road, and relies on higher justice to prevail, for truth to establish guilt and not force it by manipulation, by abuse of govt pressure and power.
2. If a group REGISTERS through the State as any kind of entity: a corporation, nonprofit, political, business, church, school, religious organization, etc. etc.
then if the group does something illegal like conspiring to violate civil rights, that CAN be proven to be criminal (such as a group setting up a website to target people with death threats, or posting revenge porn illegally by violating people's right to consent and property of their personal images, etc.) THEN YES that license or charter can be REVOKED and that group can be stopped from practicing.
3. If a person OR a group does anything ILLEGAL, violates criminal or civil laws by such unlawful acts as, for example, distributing libelous or slanderous statements, committing fraud, conspiring to violate civil rights, etc. THEN YES those violations can be charged against THAT GROUP or the PERSONS responsible for the crimes, violations, abuses, etc.
But
JoeB131 nobody can just treat you as illegal by "guilt by association"
Even with gang members and terrorists, they have to PROVE that you committed a crime.
Some criminals, corporate or political abusers, or terrorists may take advantage of this system, knowing how difficult it is to ADHERE to due process,
but that's what gives America moral authority, because it takes faith in God or Truth to prevail while following procedures. And not taking shortcuts for man made manipulations of justice. Justice works without having to bypass the agreed protocol.
We lose our moral authority if we violate our own laws, which is what the terrorists are trying to do by attacking, hoping to show their system is stronger. So don't go there, don't stoop to that level. Or that makes you no better than criminals looking to skirt the law!
[People who don't get full due process under civilian laws are people counted as enemy combatants at war who go through military procedures that are different from civilian courts and process. And even that gets debated, whether to process the detainees at Gitmo under Geneva Convention standards, or what.]
