My take on this is that the murderer is a Japanese nationalist. The police have said that the suspect confessed to having a grudge against what he described as a "specific organization" The PM might have belonged to. That organization could possibly be the globalist World Economic Forum (WEF).

Abe, like President Trump, is a conservative. But there are some people in Japan who would consider him to be a "globalist." That's how fast things can change: Just a few Presidents ago, GW Bush was considered a "conservative." These days, many folks refer to him as a "globalist." I wouldn't be surprised if there are actually some who would consider President Trump to be a "globalist" as well.
But we'll know more about the killer's motives as more information comes out. Japan has had similar assassinations, the most notable being the assassination of Inejirō Asanuma in 1960. He was the chairman of the Japanese Socialist Party, and was stabbed by a Japanese nationalist.
