As we can see, the fear, ignorance, bigotry, and hate common to most on the right concerning gay and transgender Americans will take more than good faith efforts by the private sector, the Constitution and its case law is just as important to combat the right’s efforts to disadvantage gay Americans for no other reason than who they are.

But if you insist on equating transgenderism as something we must embrace and promote on the equivalent of slavery, then you will always have your followers because who can defend slavery?

So letting society murder babies in the wombs for whatever reason or whim they want to use as their excuse is the equivalent of freeing society from slavery. And gay marriage is so important to turn America away from its hate. And now making sure transgenders get their own bathrooms, well, that is so much more important than eradicating our cities of gang violence. At least your president thinks so. This is bizarre!! I am not asking for special rights for anybody. Equality and fair play is not something that should be aspirational.

There is no link at all between bathroom facilities and the gang violence in America. It might just be possible to deal with both issues at the same time.

Im unclear why you think that Gay rights or Gay marriage is a moral issue in some way other than they are entitled to the same protections as straight people. I really dont get that.
