April, 1978. 38 years ago. Who cares that she stuck up for her husband nearly 4 decades ago? Maybe she believed the woman was lying. Maybe he told her he was innocent. Is it breaking a law for a spouse to stick up for whom they are married to? I don't know. It's very old news and clearly she didn't rape the woman.
Can we please stick to more recent activities? The candidates are both flawed and we don't have to go back that far to find reasons to not vote for either of them.
Kathleen Wiley lives with the fear and shame of being raped every day, to this day, so to her this is not an OLD issue, it is fresh in her memory today every time she sees her rapist on television.
OK. She was traumatized a very long time ago and her feelings were hurt. Maybe she even had some minor bruises inside and out. I get that it was unpleasant. I've never been raped but I've had intercourse many thousand times. I get the dynamics of the act of sexual intercourse. It happened. Something happened. Maybe she exaggerated what happened. I don't know. Rapists get prosecuted all the time. Why was Bill not charged with SOMETHING???
Here is a tip for the victim. STOP watching Bill Clinton on the television. Nobody is forcing her to watch him on the TV are they?
EVERYBODY has had something bad happen to them in the last 40 years that was difficult to endure. Get the fuck over it. Nobody has to be a victim over ANYTHING for 40 years.
Bill is a disgusting pig. She is a weak person that should have dealt with whatever happened a very long time ago IMHO.
Once again, you are defending the rapist and calling the victim a "weak person."
Is that going to be the Democratic line, to throw rape victims under the bus and tell them to "get the fuck over it"?
I've never been raped, but I am smart enough to realize that get raped against your will is not even slightly the same as consensual sexual intercourse. There is humiliation, anger, guilt, shame and it never goes away for many victims. You have no right to minimize the trauma of rape, no right at all. You are completely out of line for saying what you have said, and I now call on you to apologize not only to Juanita Brodderrick, but all rape victims.
