Looks like Sharon is going to use the tried-and-true method of appeasement [/sarcasm] to try and get the Palestinians to take some pressure off of him. I seriously doubt it will work.

The Israelis know that within 10 years the Palestinians will be in the majority and so we'll see all kinds of offers and negotiations from Sharon before that time comes.

Impressive elevated thoughts presented in elementary packaging. Raising the US terror alert to Orange coincided with Hannukah. My perhaps oversimplificated notion, being merely to hook a large audience to gain support, is not consistent with other views. Sublimely promoting generalization and internalization with violence in the Sharon/Arafaat neighbourhood could lead to a rewarding outcome.
