Zone1 Sharia in Action

Who started this conspiracy to take historical events and build a theology around them?
It wasn't a conspiracy. The OT is an account of a people that transitioned from polytheism to monotheism and recorded their history through the lens of believing in a moralistic and providential creator.

How do you explain that account? You can't can you?
The Book of Ding.
The book of common sense.

I don't disagree and see the NT as an account of a people that transitioned from Judaism to Christianity and recorded their history through the lens of believing in a savior demigod.

As I said, it was what they didn't say.
Strike what I said about there being hope for you.

That's some stellar logic for believing that you "grew up in a house that believed women are worth less than men."

What do you propose we do?
Get back to the principles established by our founders ......freedom of religion and the strongly implied concept of freedom from religion. Get out of bed with the likes of the heritage Foundation and the New Apostolic Reformation network. Politicians and officials need to stop doing their bidding in exchange for political and financial support and those who preach politics from the pulpit need to be smacked down and striped of their tax exempt status

It's different reasons for different people/groups. What have you done to prepare for what is coming?
What is it that's coming and from who? What has already come is a conglomeration of right wing theocrats, oligarchs and the rise of a kakistocracy that is tearing America down . What are you doing about that aside from supporting and cheering it on?

How will that stop the Muslim horde?

You said WWIII has started. Won't it get really bad? What have you done to prepare for that?

Ok, so will things get worse? What have you done to prepare for that?
What are you doing about that
I've prepared for the worst such as food and fuel shortages and financial system collapse.
aside from supporting and cheering it on?
When and where did I do that?

Boys could go anywhere and do anything, girls could not. Pretty simple really.
How do you know they weren't protecting them?

But putting that aside, if I take your statement at face value they never left the house. Which we both know isn't true. Are you familiar with the word "hyperbole?"

Personally I think if you are going to accuse the people whose house you grew up in of treating girls like second class citizens. I think you should have evidence beyond reasonable doubt. And since I just gave you a different reasonable reason and cast doubt on your unreasonable absolute statement that they could go nowhere or do anything, you don't have evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.

My wife had an unreasonable belief about her father that way. But as we talked about it more, she realized she was wrong about him. I think she is a lot happier now.

I'm glad you have come around to accepting that the OT was written with a bias towards a loving and merciful God. There is hope for you after all.
The word 'bias' implies a view that is inaccurate. I'm glad we agree.

Strike what I said about there being hope for you.

That's some stellar logic for believing that you "grew up in a house that believed women are worth less than men."
How about if I changed it to say: "I grew up in a country that believed women are worth less than men"?

The word 'bias' implies a view that is inaccurate. I'm glad we agree.
No. It does not imply that. Their belief (i.e. bias) is that God is moralistic and providential. A belief that can be confirmed by the fact that not all behaviors and actions have equal outcomes. That certain behaviors and actions have better outcomes. Outcomes that are harmonious and lead to order. Whereas other behaviors and actions lead to worse outcomes. Outcomes that are disordered and stressful. That is literally what they were teaching when they established rules to follow.

Your belief is that the God of Abraham is not moralistic or providential. Given that your only evidence against the God of Abraham are the accounts that were written to show God is moralistic and providential, your conclusions are illogical.

So, no. We don't agree. And until you can provide an alternate explanation or the existence of these accounts, you don't have a leg to stand on. So stop dodging and start explaining why these accounts were written. You can start with the one we were discussing. Why was it written?

How do you know they weren't protecting them?
They were protecting them because it was assumed they couldn't protect themselves.

But putting that aside, if I take your statement at face value they never left the house. Which we both know isn't true. Are you familiar with the word "hyperbole?"
Are you familiar with the word "chimerical"?

Sometimes you astonish me!!! How you go from "not anywhere" to "nowhere" is an impressive leap.

They were protecting them because it was assumed they couldn't protect themselves.
I win again. :thanks:
Are you familiar with the word "chimerical"?
Sure. Do you believe my saying that you were exaggerating that the girls could go nowhere or do nothing was a imaginary, wildly fanciful, or highly unrealistic assumption on my part? Or was it dead on accurate?

Boys could go anywhere and do anything, girls could not.
If boys could go anywhere and girls could not, then where could they go?

If boys could do anything and girls could not, then what could they do?
