I agree with you, in Unfaithful she had a sexy, attentive, passionate husband, so there was no reason for the affair, just as there was no reason in "Fatal Attraction"... Anne Archer or Glenn Close (yuck) no contest!!

In "The Year of Living Dangerously" When Mel is kissing Segourney Weaver in the the rain......That was one of the most passionate kisses I have ever seen in a movie, and the song playing in the background WOW

Second one is in "Last of the Mohicans" when Daniel Day Lewis runs to kiss Madeline Stowe while the fort is being pounded by cannon fire and there is this beautiful irish music playing.

"Blade Runner" when Ford throws Rachael against the door and then throws her down on the bed.........

LA Confidential when Russell Crowe climbs on top of Kim Bassinger on the bed SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfaithful was such a good movie, although it's hard to portray the "vibe" well on screen. You're right too, Glenn Close and the young punk.

dunno, some of the scenes in that one were pretty powerful, I think it made it's point pretty well but that could just be the guy in me! :teeth:

Have to agree there, You really don't get what is missing in her marriage.........Gere is not a lunk head in this. Powerful movie though. I go the feeling it was just her midlife crisis, because she really did love her husband.

I watched this movie again last night. Wow. It pretty much takes a person on an emotional rollercoater ride. I wonder why it didn't get any more acknowledement than it did?
