ERIC - Midwestern Rural Adolescents' Anal Intercourse Experience, Journal of Rural Health, 2011

A surveillance questionnaire based on the Youth Risk Behavior Survey was distributed in 2009 to 820 rural middle and high school students in grades 6-12, across 2 rural counties in a Midwestern state. The school districts were stratified by grade level and a stratified random sample of schools (n = 17) was used. Data were analyzed using Fisher's exact test and multiple logistic regression. Findings: A total of 778 (95%) students completed the survey. The rural adolescents were in grades 6-12, were primarily white (95%), and were evenly distributed by gender. Similar amounts of students had engaged in sexual intercourse (24%) and oral sex (23%). Seven percent reported engaging in anal sex (1.6% middle school, 10.9% high school). Multivariate logistic regression controlling for other risk behaviors found that 2 variables were associated with increased anal sexual activity: ever had sexual intercourse (adjusted odds ratios [AOR]= 14.5) and ever had oral sex (AOR = 6.0). Conclusions: Anal sexual activity is a component of some rural adolescents' sexual experiences. These findings have important implications for sex education programs targeted to rural schools, where the typical high school classroom may have some students engaging in anal sex.

Out of 778 students, 366 children in the grades 6-12 reported having sex. 55 children has reported in having anal sex.. 13 middle school students have engaged in anal sex. Grade school = 6 to grade 9. Years 12- 15 of age. This study was done out of rural counties. Rural = of, relating to, or characteristic of the country, country life, or country people; rustic:

I never really enjoyed getting forced fed someone else's mandates. If I didn't like it, it would make sense that I wouldn't do the same. Unless of course, I was taught it by my parents.

I think animal abuse is as bad as the abuse of children.

Animal and child abusers should be imprisoned for a long time.

but to force children that are not your OWN about other parents desires? I don't know. School should be 'general' and school should leave the 'details' about life living with the parents. Since when have schools taught how to tie ties to go to work or how to groom hair properly? How have they taught how to scrub their bodies in the shower to get the cleanest clean? And if they have, they might as well have them sit at the table and begin teaching them table etiquette as well.

I think more parents would get upset with their children's dinner etiquette than with their personal sex lives..

As a matter of fact, the new psychiatric DSM will now say that those who have pedophilia desires, yet are not overburdened by it, cannot be diagnosed with Pedophilia disorder.

so if I was a pedophile and went into a doctors office and if I told him that my urges was not a hindrance in anyway, he could not offer any kind of medications to help since I would not fit into the DSM model of pedophilia disorder. I will be considered 'normal' and not 'disordered' by the Psychiatrist.
