His mother and sister died in front of his eyes when he was a small child, and he was hospitalized for months with his injuries. His brother died of cancer. Just the car accident would have traumatized and permanently scarred him.

Other than his drug use though, there is no evidence that he's done anything illegal in his life, but the right wingers are busy ginning up faked videos and evidence. The Russians are busy hacking Burisma to get real texts and emails, from which to build the fakes.
The right is going after Hunter Biden because they can. 5 years of investigations by the IRS, the Senate, and the DOJ have produced no charges, and no crimes. This is just another case of Republicans making up shit about the Bidens, and then investigating the rumours they made up.

Most of what I've heard regarding the Hunter to Joe connection were insinuation based, on the level of the 'gay tryst' claims regarding Paul Pelosi.
But this actually has an evidence trail and a plausible connection. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
