Serious What Did Hamas Gain by This War?

Every time Hamas and the killer muslims get Germans to show their anti-Semitism...they win as the Germans pose the greatest threat to Israel and the Jewish people.

Hamas did win a temporary PR war, but you know 2 weeks after the missiles stop flying and they return to a period of calm, the 24/7 news-cycle will move on and so will the world public. It will generally be forgot.

It wasn't really the Germans who showed this antisemitism, just like in the US and France, it's about 3/4 muslim immigrants. If those Muslim immigrants weren't protesting Israel, then they would be protesting against their host country.

Germany is not a threat to Israel. They are actually a friend to Israel, the US, the West and to the freedom loving capitalist around the world. Germany is a great country to which you should envy and parts of their government and society we should copy!

Germany is the true threat to the Jewry, you are being deceived by the Germans and their true intentions. You would think, as a Jew, you would pay attention to the German PSA's I have been educating you people with. You will find that there is a concerted effort among the Germans to re-launch the holocaust and start more wars.

All of those bombs being launched against Israel...funneled through Germany or made with German parts. Germany is profiting from the attack on Israel.

They started the war and Israel met the challenge. So the honest question is, what did Hamas gain?

The liberal and Arab Jew hater will say Hamas won a PR gain, because many civilians were killed. However, that is a fatal argument on two points:
(1) The world lives in the 24/7 news-cycle. Once this one dies down the next tragic event will take it's place and everyone will have forgotten. Take Boko Haram. They kidnapped 300 school girls. The first lady did one of those signs the world was outraged, outraged I tell you. The girls were never found, yet this story was forgotten in a week. Give it 2 weeks and the news cycle will move on. Give it 1 month and it will be forgotten. So sorry but no PR victory.

(2) Most honest non-Jew hating people easily see that the reason for the civilian deaths was Hamas strategy of firing rockets from apartment buildings, schools, mosques and hospitals. Their use of human shields was horrendous and most honest people recognize that.

Regardless, if you want to give them a so-call "PR victory" was the price worth it?
(1) Israel utilized the HIGHLY effective Russia invasion of Georgia strategy. The same one they half-heartedly utilized in Lebanon a few years back. Invade the country, declare the entire country an enemy, hit it hard and swiftly, reduce it to rubles and then leave and make them clean up the mess.
(2) Gaza is now in rubles because of this Hamas provoked war. It will take time, money and resources to repair the area. The economy will suffer from it for years.
(3) The very expensive and time consuming tunnel network has been completely destroyed. They spend years to make it and it was destroyed in weeks. Imagine taking 10 years to paint a million dollar masterpiece for a someone to destroy it upon completion. That would hit the moral no?
(4) Much of the expensive weapons they stored have been destroyed. These guys don't have money trees. This loss will be devastating to their military
(5) Proved the iron domes effectiveness. So many missiles and so few made it through. 1 person killed and very few injured and little property damage destroyed.
(6) Huge loss of Palestinian life.
(7) Gazans are now openly questioning Hamas, why they provoked this war they killed so many of it's people and destroy their territory.
(8) The Arab world for the first time abandoned the Palestinians. Many openly blamed Hamas for the unnecessary war and use of human shields. Many every de facto supported Israel.
(9) It showed the fear Hezbollah has for Israel. I know the Arab myth behind the 2nd Lebanon War was that Israel lost, but Lebanon has lived in fear of another Israel attack every since, their cowardly leader is still in hiding and their economy hasn't bounced back even half way yet.

A short-term so called "PR Victor" wasn't worth it, but then again I am a, Evul Zionist!

So far Hamas didn't gain much.

With our loses, many of them, and painful ones, Hamas didn't succeed in creating a victorious picture.

Soldiers' kidnapping was a failure, no deal there. Massive terror attac, failure. Removing blockage- failure. Rafah checkpoint opened- failure.

I hardly see anything positive which came upon the terror organization. Unless you count not being massivly killed due to human shield using- a success.

Which I highly doubt

Boycotting the Jews?

Oh, no! It never happened before! what shall we do?

The awful anti-semite haters boycott us! we're shocked and crushed!

No one is calling for a boycott of Jews, Boycott of Israel and the zionist regime

Boycott of Israel Spreads in European Civil Society Over Gaza War, Could Cost $5 Billion a Year
The ill-considered and remarkably brutal Gaza war likely will give further impetus to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement by Western civil society to pressure Israel on its illegal actions toward the Palestinians. A thoroughgoing such European set of sanctions could cost Israel as much as $5 bn a year and more. Roughly a third of Israeli trade is with Europe, and the EU is IsraelÂ’s largest single trading partner.

Unite, the largest British trade union, has now resolved to campaign for adoption of BDS against Israel.

The Sinn Fein mayor of Newry in Northern Ireland is also calling on retailers in the town to boycott Israel.

Although the Irish government has declined to slap sanctions on Israel over the latest Gaza War, Irish civil society is generally disgusted with actions like the Gaza campaign, with its ruthless disregard for the well-being of noncombatants:

1. Boycotting Israel is boycotting the Jews. The Anti-Zionism of today is Antisemitism wrapped in a chocolate paper.

Only fools by that nonsense.

2. Ha'aretz is not a credible source.

I will tell that to one of my Jewish friends tomorrow, when we have a coffee together on the beach front cafe, as we do every Wednesday

My heart breaks for every Israeli that was killed but we did gain one thing. It was because of this mission that Israel found those tunnels going from Gaza into Israel Israel stopped a Massacre !!!! B

It was a Battle, the War is not over

Obviously your pain is such that you can't answer the question. The bottom line is as G mentioned: 2 weeks from now the world's attention will be elsewhere and those hapless Gazans will be left with what Hamas has wrought. Unless their gangstaz can hold the fort, Hamas's political power will be gone in a year. :dev3:

UK MPs demand end to Israeli restrictions on Palestinian lands

London (AFP) - Excessive Israeli restrictions on Palestinian territories cannot be justified on the grounds they protect the Jewish state, a British parliamentary committee said on Wednesday.

"We challenge the assertion that restrictions which curtail economic development in the OPTs [Occupied Palestinian Territories] are based on Israel's security needs and can be justified on security grounds," the report by the International Development Committee said.

The lifting of an eight-year blockade of Gaza has been a key demand of Islamist group Hamas for peace.
