They were "the heroes" of the pandemic. Selflessly treating the infected, while working long hours under terrible circumstances, for over 18 months!
And now he is firing some of them who choose not to comply with his unscientific mandate while COVID is dying out in all but a dozen states.

You left out that the vaccines generally don't work, just like the influenza vaccines, which we have had for decades and are tuned at least annually....vote blue not red!
The latest research shows infection is analogous to the regular flu after vaccination.
I would not want a healthcare worker working on me that was not a believer in taking precautions, including vaccination. Not looking for a Typhoid Mary post pandemic story. It is ultimately up to the hospitals, as most are not federal employees. These people will be fine, as the exercise whatever decision they make, for whatever reason they make it. Most will indeed do what their employers require. I am not in that industry. I will not advocate for them, knowing they could end up working on me. You miss the point. Getting infected after vaccination helps with herd immunity.You left out that the vaccines generally don't work, just like the influenza vaccines, which we have had for decades and are tuned at least annually.
Natural immunity provides long-lasting T- and B-cells which recognize multiple parts of the virus. The vaccines are only effective against the Alpha spike protein. Delta mutated the spike protein.

The Dems and media don't even seem to recognize the protection of prior infection. They divide Americans into the "vaccinated" and "unvaccinated" classes, claiming that it is now a "pandemic of the unvaccinated," completely ignoring the estimated 100 million Americans who have natural immunity after recovering from COVID.
Vaccines are created to mimic natural immunity. While many are quite effective, they usually are not quite as protective as being exposed to the real thing, which creates long-lasting T- and B-cells in one's bone marrow, sometimes leading to a lifetime of protection (1).
The CDC's own data shows that prior infection provides protection for >180 days, whereas the vaccines start to wane at 14 weeks. (2)
Moderna stock is up a factor of 21 since December 2019. Congress invests heavily in pharmaceutical stocks (3). They could not care less about you or me. As usual, it's about them - their power and money.

Thinks about it. Trained educated professionals with credentials in their area of work. How long do you think they are going to be on the sidelines, not working in what they spent years of study and work in? Permanent or temporary? Older ones, 55 and up may indeed decide to chuck it in. I wasn't in healthcare, but I was looking for the exit at that age.
