Then they changed the narrative to where it would prevent spread. Turns out, this was not true.
Then the narrative changed yet again to where it would prevent re-infection. Turns out, this was not true.

The narrative finally settled on: It will ease symptoms. Which it did, but the narrative only changed after viewing its actual effects over the course of a year and half to two years. Which is what they should have done in the first place with clinical trials just like any other drug.

The point is, they had no goddamn clue what it would do but they pushed the false narratives anyway and people bought it.
