This is what happens when fiscal conservatives get greatly outnumbered by RINO's. By now, according to Trump's campaign promises, the government size and scope should be greatly reduced. And the spending cuts should be massive.
But both are getting bigger. This lesser of two evils ain't working. It's never worked. And it never will.

The Senate version of President Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill (BBB) will add nearly $3.3 trillion to US deficits over a decade, according to the latest estimate from the Congressional Budget Office, half a trillion more than the $2.8 trillion in deficit expansion under the House version of the same bill. That’s from a starting point with debt to GDP already in excess of 120% and the fiscal deficit sitting close to a peacetime record.

Half of one dozen or another. Johnson got an assurance to continue to lower spending to pre-Covid time. In return, the Trump tax cuts will stay the same and even better for many as well. That is the alternative is to lose the Trump tax cuts and see everyone scream at Republicans for raising their taxes by 69%. And, don't think Democrats and their media won't pounce on it. There's plenty conservative things in the Bill for Republicans to get behind this Bill. Corrections can come along later.

This could be Trumps legacy in the end if they don't correct course before his term ends, following Bidens poor fiscal leadership. It's almost certain he must have tariffs to offset this debt and tax cuts remaining because America is going to have a spending AND revenue problem otherwise.

Yet another example of how similar both criminal gangs are. Both support massive deficit spending, along with nearly all other major issues facing the country. Somehow duopoly dupes on both sides can’t see it.

It doesn’t help when democrats vote to not remove illegals from Medicaid.

Bologna. The bill that Johnson sent the senate was trillions over "pre covid levels."

Massive spending, like the promised last December and then March was no where to be found in the House version.

Without the tax cuts, taxes aren't going to increase 69%. Or even 20%

Maybe you don't realize, but the tax cuts from Trumps first 4 years, weren't huge. They were maybe 5% at best. And when you factor in the tax write off's we lost, it was even less.

The GOP have the trifecta. There's not blaming the democrats for any of this.

I'm sick of the democrats getting everything they want when they have a slight majority. And when the GOP has a slight majority. RINO's are weak.

The democrats are getting almost everything they want, and they're still complaining.
The Trumpbots aren't getting hardly anything they were promised, and they're not complaining.

Political loyalty is retarded.

This has been Trumps course since before he was elected the first time. He's always leaned left. Always been a big spender. Always been a big government guy.
His label may say Republican. But he's still a f*cking democrat at heart.

Why isn’t it in the bill?
Because there are those who won't support it at this time. This is how negotiations work. There is compromise. He got assurance from Trump to work on this. If there is no compromise, the bill fails and your taxes and everyone else's goes up 69%! Democrats win! That's why they are opposing the bill. Wake up!!! You and Senator Paul are willing to cut off your noses despite your faces. Stop it!

You are dumber than dirt! If the bill doesn't go through, the Trump tax cuts from his first term GO WAY! WAKE UP! That's a 69% tax increase from last year to this year!

That's not a compromise, that's just capitulation. He traded his vote for a worthless promise.

I'm not dumber than anything. Why not have 1 bill that keeps the tax cuts in place. The GOP have the majority. They can do that, you know.

One bill to codify the DOGE cuts.
One bill to keep the tax cuts.
One bill to reduce funding for individual agencies and departments.
One bill to fund the military
One bill to fund border security.
One bill to eliminate taxes on SS.
One bill to eliminate taxes on tips.
