They were not released, they were leaked by a single employee of the IRS acting alone, and it was done during Trump's first tenure as president. I.e., while he was in charge of the IRS. So he's suing his own agency for an accident that happened under his watch.
That was no accident. I located a site that claims they have all of Trumps tax returns and they claim they have them legally.; Starting with 2015.
Ponder this: Trump controls the IRS, Trump controls the IRS's lawyers, Trump sues the IRS and directs the attorneys defending to settle in his favor with a sweetheart deal that says the IRS can never investigate Trump OR his family forever. This is blatant, brazen corruption of a kind never before seen in American history.
I have started to review Trumps income tax forms from 2015 forward and he has paid millions of dollars in in more than taxes, also wages and expenses of his many businesses. No law demands he tell the public his income taxes.
