This whole thing is insanely corrupt. It may be one of the brazenly corrupt things I've seen a president do.

Trump sues his own IRS for an incident that happened while he was in charge, and the lawsuit is defended by his own DOJ, demanding money from the taxpayers, and his own DOJ agrees to settle the lawsuit at his behest, and the settlement gives the people who committed crimes in his name a $1.7 billion slush fund, AND he and his sons get immunity from any future investigation by the IRS.

This is insanity. It's so wildly obviously corrupt and illegal. Anyone trying to defend this is loony toons out of their gourd.
