Senate Dems, Led by Feinstein, Introduce Assault Weapons Ban

205 military-style assault weapons by name,"
Just change the name?:dunno:

Another ban on scary looking guns.

See why we need complete repeal. New automatic rifles have been effectively banned for 4 decades and the commies are still at it. The only defense is complete repeal and make them BEG for MERCY!!!!

And the best part is this:

"this bill won't stop every mass shooting,"

Wrong, it won't stop any mass shooting, even she knows that.

And after the next massacre.....instead of "thoughts and prayers", Congress can read the names of everyone who voted against the ban

Yes, and then they can do the same keeping the US abortion tally month by month. You know, all those Democrats against the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

Righties can't make up their whining minds. They whine if Democrats don't propose laws. They whine if Democrats do propose laws. The common factor is that they always whine.

Mainly, they're whining now because they know Pelosi is making them look bad. They get commanded by their masters to whine like this whenever Democrats do something moral and intelligent.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) and a long list of her Democratic colleagues introduced the Assault Weapons Ban of 2017 on Wednesday.

The bill would ban "the sale, transfer, manufacture, and importation of military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines," according to a press release from Feinstein's office.

"We're introducing an updated Assault Weapons Ban for one reason: so that after every mass shooting with a military-style assault weapon, the American people will know that a tool to reduce these massacres is sitting in the Senate, ready for debate and a vote," Feinstein said in a statement.

Feinstein, ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, conceded that "this bill won't stop every mass shooting," but said "it will begin removing these weapons of war from our streets."

The bill states that "owners may keep existing weapons and magazines" but bans the sale of "205 military-style assault weapons by name," the press release noted.

Senate Dems, Led by Feinstein, Introduce Assault Weapons Ban

Time for the movie folks.

More phony boloney by the Democrat showmen. Uh, Senator, didn't we have an assault weapons ban in the past that produced no results? Where in the US Constitution does it say all bills originate in the Senate?

Trying to get an assault weapons ban in place with a Republican Congress and Senate is like the Republicans trying to increase abortion regulations with a Dem House and Senate. Clearly this is nothing more than a dog and pony show pandering to their constituents and getting nothing done at the same time.

So, a bad gun law is going to go nowhere. Your outrage seems rather impotent, kind of like the people trying to pass the gun ban. Yawn. Whatever floats your boat, I suppose...

First, no one can EVER make Nancy look good.....EVER!

Second, no liberty lover will whine id democrats start repealing gun laws. So, they could do that.

Abortion has been legal for 40 years
Massacres have never been legal...why do you insist on helping them obtain their weapons of choice?

I don't think I expressed "outrage" about it. Just pointing out what actors Democrat politicians are in light of a tragedy.

Oh, you don't like that idea? Well then how about they read the names of all the politicians that voted against Kate's law when an illegal kills yet another American citizen? Does that suit you better?

Then I guess we don't whine all that much. Democrats never do anything moral or intelligent.

Ok, okay, according to the article, she's the one that introduced it. She's a Senator.

Let's do it

Put Kate's Law up for a vote and we put the Anti-assault weapon bill up for a vote

We did put up Kate's law to a vote. The Senate Democrats voted it down. They didn't want severe penalties against illegals who were deported, come back, and commit more crimes. Democrats are fine with that.
