Derek Hunter talked about this on his podcast today...the only reason the democrats did this was to help manchin, simena and one other democrat who is in trouble...they know the Supreme Court is going to knock it down, so allowing those 3 to vote for it, doesn't cost them anything.

Student loans are an example how we help people. People abuse it because they embrace it with a sense of entitlement to run up six digits as opposed to five digits. If you are going to run up six digits, pick a field that pays.

The problem with blanket forgiveness is that it's an excuse for post-secondary institutions to just raise tuition and fees for no other reason than simple profits.

Every state that has lottery proceeds go to education scholarships seen tuition rise by the exact amount of the state scholarships.

It was ridiculous. Nothing of cost went up. The professors didn't get raises, no new school.supplies and nothing but new added dorm rooms to the campus.

So....by blanket debt forgiveness the tuition rates across the nation just went through the roof.

Now unless we limit loans for students to STEM courses or educator tracts....(English teachers and etc) we are looking at education being beyond reach for most students.
