Of course he’s unqualified – that’s the point; indeed, that’s the point of all of Trump’s appointments: to fill the cabinet with unqualified partisan hacks willing to implement Trump’s reckless, irresponsible agenda harmful to the American people.

Hegseth, for example, would have no problem ordering soldiers to shoot Americans engaged in lawful, peaceful protest in the legs, as Trump advocated for in his first term.

I trained Muslim soldiers back in the 90s.

I completely understand why the training didn't sink in.

The problem they all seem to have is their religion that teaches them to think they're better than infidels and their command structure has to change along with the training.

Not to mention the fact that training and applying that training to real life is difficult for people living in Afghanistan.
