The point (which I already articulated) is that even if Congress were to refuse to enact a law to abolish the Department of Education, Trump could still act decisively. And then, of course, the matter would end up in court.
The AG and the DOJ would have to legally defend the President’s action, and could do so on clear Constitutional grounds.
I’m sure you disagree. That’s your right. But you can’t articulate why it would be improper. And you can’t support your position that the effort would fail in the judicial branch.
Again, as I recently noted for the benefit of another simpleton like you, it is worth pondering this small but crucial question:
What enumerated power, within our Constitution, actually authorizes federal input into education?
