The Secret Service is charged with protecting the President and the line of succession to the throne. Schumer wasn't part of that, the job of protecting Chuck U. went to the Capital Police

So of course, the Secret Service passed the information along the chain of command, but apparently the bureaucracy doesn't move as fast as you might think it should.

The fact that Schumer wasn't shot and killed shows their strategy was successful.

BTW, Schumer was in the capitol at the time, and there were just capitol police and unarmed, mostly peaceful demonstrators there. He really wasn't in any danger.

A shooting threat, yet not one person was shot other than a woman by a black man. This shit is so Reichstag Fire, it is ridiculous to the extreme.
