Well it has been reported in cable news entertainment programming that he purrchased a ladder at the Home Depot the day prior. I think it was the day prior, they said.

But he's not walking across the parking lot where the police cars were staged and putting a ladder up in broad daylight and against the very building that the police were staged inside. Especially whe nhe was already tagged as a suspicious attendee who was followed but subsequently ''lost.''

''oh, well, he staged the ladder there the night before,'' but take it from someone who has legitimately been shaken down by SS in my line of work a time or three in the middle of the night while within a relatively equal vicinity of the President that SS works day and night. And they're very, very thorough. So that's all I have to say about that.

Now. Placing that aside, SS is saying that the local authorities were in charge of securing that area, which they contend was outside f the perimete tha tthe SS was tasked wit hsecuring. So, by that model it would have been local authorities securing the area outside the perimeter where the building he climbed with the lader was.

If the slope of the roof was/is so dangerous then why is there FOUR/4 officers standing on the roof checking out the corpse of the sniper??? Why was there no aerial surveillance? This does not look good for fed security, or for that matter the entire federal g'ment.

I might worry about going up there if it had snow or ice on it, otherwise, for a big, strong, trained sniper type dude in protective gear and rubber boots, it's NOTHING.
