This would match Iranian reports claiming that they foiled a US plan - that was not related to the WSO rescue.

That sounds plausible to me.
I'm old enough to remember Carter's Operation Eagle Claw in April of 1980.

If I'm remembering correctly, it took decades for Americans to learn the full extent of their government's failure in that episode.

Yes I fully agree - the internet has been a great help to track down misleading or false information's, whilst at the same time is providing ample food - for those using/living off spreading false information, to their own benefit and agenda e.g. TACO and friends.

IMO, latest in June 2025 - Iran worked out way's of obtaining nuclear weapons from several sources. In case the USA and Israel would attack them again.

Yes - and this raises the question as to why Israel and the USA attacked Iran. Just to make money TACO could have had it far easier then to actually attack Iran. Israel on the other hand can't pursue it's "Greater Israel" with Iran maintaining it's proxies and missile capabilities. And certainly not with Iran on the way to acquire nuclear warheads.

So Iran needs to be intimidated or factually weakened considerably. Israel was the main player (aside from that German "fantasy" intel report - where MOSSAD involvement is highly suspected) in getting the USA to attack Iraq. So if WMD's had worked one time - why not give it another shot? And as abstruse as it may sounds, in order for TACO to get his Gaza Riviera going - he needs the IDF to do the dirty ground work for him.

Both seemed to have actually believed that upon decisive strikes onto the Iranian political and military leadership - Iran would cave in. Strongly supported by the fact that Iran's intel services and government institutions were worse then a Swiss cheese, so that Mossad and the CIA had their ears, eyes and even active support in the highest levels of the Iranian government.

What helped Iran to survive that first wipe out-phase could have very well been - as you had already pointed out - their decentralized military command structure. Something the USA and Israel had clearly underestimated or not fully recognized.

And thus TACO got himself into a hell of a jam - with Bibi blocking and sabotaging any "diplomatic" way out for him, other than in disgrace and humiliation. Since he is a narcissistic prick ..............who knows.....?

Latest reports are that the WSO was an Expert for nuclear martial, and that the F-15 was shot down at low altitude whilst flying a reconmission - those SF forces and their C-130's were already in the area trying to locate/retrieve nuclear material.

They were not flown in to rescue the WSO.

Tons of online chatter about this being a failed mission to get uranium vs a pilot recovery mission. I did think it was weird that they sent a giant C-130 to pick up a single pilot instead of just a blackhawk. Who knows?

They lost a minimum of 20 marines but the US is desperate to keep that whole Fake Rescue story silent because it was the initial ground force that was routed .

I believe we are being lied to, yep. Most people do. All signs point to this being a failed mission. I will leave the door open to the idea we sent 2 C-130 planes to land in the desert to save a single pilot… but either that was an incredibly stupid idea… or this was a failed mission to steal/secure nuclear material.

I think it’s very hard to hide deaths so I have a hard time believing that without proof, however, it is very clear this was a failed mission and we lost a lot of equipment. Seems like a miracle no one was killed.
