No, apparently you didn't. The bail-out hatch is on the bottom of the aircraft, port-side behind the cockpit. It's the access hatch where you climb into the aircraft from the ground. View attachment 1230239

If one looks at the first image in post #14, you will see two rectangular doors on the fuselage, one in front of the leading edge of the wing, another behind the wing closer to the tail.

These can be quickly jettisoned to escape the aircraft if one can make it to them and has a parachute on.

Those are the cargo hatch and an escape hatch for ground exits. You literally jump vertically down the access hatch. I still remember this from flying in one almost 50 years ago.
