Seattle considering an income tax on the wealthy

They've been trying to do it state wide for a long time. We have a high sales tax because there is no income tax but I'm positive if they ever did it the sales tax would not go down. At all. They are hard core lefties and won't figure it out until their last cash cow leaves for higher ground.

And the libs will be left scratching their heads as to why tax revenues have taken a nosedive.

Welp, guess we're gonna have to raise taxes on the middle class to make up the difference.....

Did they ask California how that worked out for them?

Well that's where the money is. You need to tax where the money is.

A general tax on Firms for unemployment compensation on an at-will basis in our at-will employment States; Washington State, can do our "path finding" on this one.

No.
.you set tax rates low and the money comes to you........as more people move to the low tax area and start businesses and create jobs...

As long as they make sure the last person out of town turns off the lights it should be fine.

The lights will already be out...they won't be able to pay for them...

Detroit reportedly has many streetlights out. They raised water prices on Flint causng Flint to try and "brew their own". Detroit needed revenue so they tried to extract more from Flint. Failed.

France recently put a 75% upper rate. How did that work out?

Illinois is losing residents every year. Taxes?

The people will just move to one of the many suburbs around Seattle. My son lives in a planned community just south of Tacoma and the homes there are selling like hotcakes now because people want out of lib land!
In fairness Joint Base Lewis McCord has a lot to do with that.
