It isn't about corporate personhood. It looks like that there is a common cross-party agreement that corporations are evil. Just, because, profits and stuff. Or whatever, they're evil. And thus of course we must act in opposition to whatever their political interests are. I don't buy any of that.

Perhaps we should stop making so many laws that compel corporations to care more about politics than everything else. Or, as one executive put it, if corporate donations are so off beam, then politicians need to stop coming around begging for them so often.
