Scott Pelley's firing—What it is really saying.

60 Minutes has over a 50 year legacy of cutting edge stories and tough reporting

Polly is a major part of that legacy

The legacy of Bari Weiss will be the woman who tore down 60 minutes
The legacy that Weiss we be leaving is showing the hypocrisy of the left.

And this one in delicious, you called the fired reporter “Polly” (emphasis mine) once again proving that the only woman the left respects are those with dicks! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pfft...

The larger issue is important. I chiefly listen to NPR and read as much AP as time allows. You hear/see it more and more.... “______ alleges that they are hiding the truth. They declined comment but did issue this statement....” Often times the party who is in the news doesn’t even issue a statement.
If you’re talking about ACME Products, that’s fine. That is their right. We’re seeing it more and more from government agencies though. And that’s not cool.

The individual issue of this guy getting fired...I can’t get excited about it. I figured it was just one of those stories that got oxygen because it was in the Washington Beltway where it happened. If KMOX fires a reporter for the same reason...nobody is reading about this on a messageboard.

Apparently theres more at play here though given the footprint the story has gotten. I can’t imagine what the interest is in Scott Pelly’s career arc but its intriguing that its gotten so much attention.
