You're comparing headlines, not cases.

"Same crime, same state" doesn't establish that the verdicts or sentences should be identical. Courts don't sentence based on a one-line description of an event; they sentence based on the facts, evidence, charges, intent, jury findings, and aggravating or mitigating circumstances presented in that specific case.

If the argument is that the outcomes should have been the same, then the burden is to show the cases were materially the same, not merely that both involved a fatal stabbing in Texas.

Already was having a discussion abou tthis with SuperBad Brother.... IMO,, no they are not the same crime. Completely different set of circumstances. Not to say he didnt deserve more, but Miranda rights were screwed up, the investigation was sloppy , the sentencing was handed down by the Judge and not the Jury,
There was a previous altercation between the two whereas the other boy had pulled out a gun on Allisen, and then they had arrainged a fight, wherein there were multiple people also involved in trying to film and provoke it. Friends of both boys I believe.

Anthony and Metcalf witness testimony in the trial was nothing remotely close to the caysen Allisen Crime.
If every crime is the same because of the murder weapon and RACE, then there is nt much need for a jury trial is there? you want to go just straight to the sentencing phase without facts? I dont think so.

The difference is, the white boy admitted to the killing, showed remorse, and worked out a plea. As opposed to the black who showed no remorse and claimed a right, based on race to kill the white boy.

This is the number one reason why blacks go to prison and whites don't. The truth is, blacks have no remorse. They are proud of their murders and claim a right, based on race, to kill whoever they wish.

Thank you. And I agree that people have a right to dissagree with the charges, but if they do that.... they need to come to the table with their reasons why based on the facts of the trial, witness testimony.. something instead of "same crime..different sentence", white vs black

I know what I'm comparing and I know that your kind will make excuses to try claiming these two things are somehow different.

There were a lot of differences in the two investigations and that effects the facts that are shown to the jury.
It has to effect the outcome. Its not all about race .

Miranda rights have nothing to do with an arrest. Not giving those rights does not invalidate an arrest.

Another white person posting excuses. The same thing has not been said to the whites making claims. They have no facts of the crime or witness testimony.

None of you has questioned what gave the Metcalf brothers the authority to tell somebody to leave? Why didn't they go to an adult and have that adult confront Anthony? So I don't have to go the extra mile because some whites want to believe something. The facts of this case from the beginning were that the Metcalf brothers confronted the kid, one pushed Anthony, and he got stabbed. In the case in the OP, Allison got punched and then ended up killing the guy who punched him. These are the same things. So you and the rest of the racists can stop demanding things. The white guy got 10 years, the black dude got tried as an adult, got 35 years, and the jury was not a jury of his peers.

Tale of the tape.
