Nobody who witnessed the debate on TV had a problem hearing Donald Trump, and nobody witnessing the debate on TV thought the audio levels were off, which means this was a
profoundly minor technical glitch that only affected audio levels inside the room. If you've ever used microphones, this is the kind of thing that happens all the time ... but most people let it go and never mention it because they are emotionally solid and competent and can get the job done even if they have the sniffles or a broken finger nail. Not Donald Trump.
Rather than rising above it and proving that he can handle truly minor annoyances, Trump was his typical whining self. He blew it out of proportion like an insecure child. And then he rushed home and got in a temper tantrum over a beauty contestant, which made him so nervous that he couldn't sleep, resulting in a 3am Twitter war revealing a maturity level that was beneath that of a 4rth grade playground squabble.
This is the guy who we are going to entrust to send troops into battle?
"Sorry America, I couldn't negotiate a better trade deal because Chinese officials turned off the air conditioning and I was too hot"
But it gets worse.
His supporters are enablers of this kind of whining. That's why - like the OP - they come to message boards like this, to whine and complain. The majority of his supporters are angry white men who feel alienated by a global economy that doesn't need their skills. The Republican Party takes advantage of these well-meaning people by whispering to them that their failure is someone else's fault. Listen to talk radio, the epicenter of whining. They constantly cry about the media and hollywood and elitists and illegals and big government (until they have a flood or hurricane, and then those red states take like nobody else).
You get this right? Angry white people without college degrees are being manipulated by wealthy people who want tax breaks, deregulation, subsidies and bailouts. So they exploit the frustrations of the uneducated by promising to fix their problems. But they never do. It's a shell game, and Trump is merely playing the typical role of straight-talking, anti-government "outsider" - the corrupt orange haired muse of all those who are frustrated and angry and looking for someone to blame.
God help us.
