It is not just about Ukraine. It is about building the system of equal rights and equal security in Europe (AKA demilitarization and de-nazification of the whole Europe) and building multipolar world. If you don't kill Russians - Russians don't kill you and peace is possible. The CIA hasn't been on top of any important event since WW2. JFK used the CIA to train and equip an illegal invasion army in Cuba. LBJ let the CIA run the Vietnam war while generals stood aside.
