Bullshit. The M4, M16, and ar15 are all basically the same gun. There a few small parts in the trigger group that are different, but they are pretty much interchangeable, and a slot in the bolt carrier that is a little longer in the automatic versions. You can take the upper receiver off an M16 and put it on the lower receiver of an Ar15 and it will fire just fine. There are other variations such as barrel length of flattop upper, and burst fire but those are all pretty much the same too. The AR15 started life as a military weapon, and is a military grade weapon that has been neutered to prevent full auto,but can be easily converted
