And if you think Larry Summers "moved on" after two years because his work was done and the economy was booming then you're the kind of naive fool who thinks a job "saved" is the same thing as a job "created"!

Two years after he Summers started, the economy was in recovery. By then employment had been growing every month for the previous 10 months, GDP had averaged over 3% for quarters 2, 3 and 4 of 2010, the stock market was booming and the number of foreclosures were dropping.

And of course, Trump's own [first] Director of Economic Council bailed even sooner than Summers did.

The number of foreclosures was dropping? That's one of your indicators that the economy was great? Here's a little dose of reality for you, Sparky! The number of foreclosures was dropping because the banks had so many properties that had already been foreclosed on that they were letting people stay in their homes even if they weren't paying their mortgages just so they wouldn't have to pay for things like mowing the lawn and keeping the power on so pipes wouldn't freeze and mold wouldn't grow! Did you somehow sleep through that?

The stock market was booming? Of course it was! People with wealth and good credit could borrow at near zero interest rates and invest that money in the stock market. The Fed was pumping up the stock market. Larry Summers and Barack Obama had zero to do with that "boom".

Romney's comments at the time represented the Neo Conservative feelings and those who brought us the Domino Theory. What say you about Trump's actions, notwithstanding his words, toward Putin's Russia?

As for my basic comment, how many businesses developed without power, water, sewage, and roads? That was my take on his comment, which may or may not have been his premise, but the fact cannot be disputed that taxpayers and local government created the space for business to flourish. That is not to say that business sense and hard work did not figure prominently into a successful enterprise.

Look, the economy did well, we got the social media buble.....like the internet bubble of the 90s. Trump's policies are brining jobs back, and will keep the economy going. As long as we don't force lenders to lend to people who cant pay back their debts, we'll be fine.
