Sasquatch Kills Two In Washington State

I have a hard time getting my head around is how no one has yet come up with solid physical evidence beyond a footprint or two.

I don't. If I had a sasquatch living near my town...the last thing I would want is a bunch of drunk yahoos shooting at anything they see. I wouldn't talk about it! Let alone bring in any evidence.

Even if I was in danger & had to shoot one I'd probably just leave it there & run.

Two Bigfoot hunters met their demise when they went out hunting the giant hairy sasquatch beast. Obviously an intelligent creature, the Bigfeet made it look like it was just a mere accident of exposure by two jackasses without enough sense to wait until Spring to try this sort of thing. :smoke:

Lessons learned: it always pays to keep your two damned Bigfeet planted firmly on the ground.

Two grown ass men believed that stuff.

There is actually a law against hunting bigfoot in certain areas, just for that very reason.

Yes, it's illegal to hunt Sasquatch in Washington state and Whatcom County, Washington:

    Skamania County
In 1969, the Board of Commissioners of Skamania County adopted an ordinance to protect Sasquatch, also known as Bigfoot, Yeti, or giant hairy ape. The ordinance was amended in 1984 to declare Sasquatch an endangered species and create a Sasquatch Refuge. The penalty for killing Sasquatch is a fine of up to $10,000 and up to five years in jail.

I've never seen a report of any Sasquatch hunters going out drunk shooting at them. In fact, I remember one account of an actual hunter in the woods hunting deer with a rifle I think who had a "family" of three Bigfeet come by him and he was powerless to do anything. It seems that when anyone armed does come across one, they either can't or cannot bring themselves to try to kill it.

I might do the same. If I came across any real evidence, I might be compelled to not tell anyone as surely, if they are realty out there, the last thing they need is people hunting and bothering them. But scientifically speaking, there was something like a Sasquatch that we KNOW was still living and around like 40,000 years ago I want to say, so I find it credible based on other things we have found still alive that there could still be some of these things around.

Seriously, I actually believe there must be something to the reports as there have been too many sightings all over the world for hundreds if not thousands of years, with a lot of consistency in what they say. And some people have said never to make direct eye contact with these creatures.

There are many ancient cultures which describe these creatures and even revere them.

While I believe there is a certain scientific rationale to the theories, and there has been a lot of corroborating evidence, the part I have a hard time getting my head around is how no one has yet come up with solid physical evidence beyond a footprint or two.

Worse, I've watched hundreds of hours of TV shows where people go out looking for the Bigfeet, yet in every one, they wait until midnight to do it then go out doing stuff like making noises and things that if anything, would just scare them away never fooling them!

That and the fact that they never have more than one night or a couple of days to search and run cameras and are always met with bad weather.

All cynicism aside, just as with UFOs, I find too much consistency and corroboration and sincerity in many of the reports.
Expedition Bigfoot is a compelling series.
I've seen a cast of a Sasquatch foot print that is kept at a US Forestry office in north Idaho.
Is it real? I'm not sure, but it sure looks real, and the forestry officer says it's legit.

My southern Cascades Mountain Home is in between Mount Shasta & Mount Lassen

😂 What else are you "open-minded" about?

(Smile) I've seen 2 UFO's. You need to understand that nothing you think has any bearing with anything I've experienced.

I'll have to look for that. Years ago, Les Stroud of Survivorman fame did a short series where he went out several times exploring areas looking for evidence himself and had many interesting and bizarre experiences. I have the episodes saved. I remember in one he found a bunch of trees broken down and stacked up in an obviously organized way that no person or people could have done, yet, there it was.

Many of those casts have been examined by experts in biology and have found them anatomically credible, showing signs of injury, arthritis, and bone construction different from people that no one could have faked unless they were a PhD in the field of anthropology and anatomy.

Yet these things were found by accident out in very remote locations where there were no signs of people ever being, nor would anyone go through so much trouble to make such a thing then leave it where it was likely never to be found.

The problem is that even if you can dismiss, write off or explain/justify 90-95% of all this stuff and reports as hokum, that still leaves 5-10% as impossible to ignore.

The Pluto Caves are the Strangest Place I’ve been to up here ( other than Bumpass Hell in Lassen Volcanic Park )

One of my UFO sighting was when I was climbing Mt. Eddy, across I-5 .

I'd be interested in hearing those stories. I've seen UFOs too as I spent a number of years often out at night doing astronomy and such. While several of my sightings are compelling, my one sighting in the late sixties using a telescope, I saw something high in the sky which simply was physically impossible by any known science then or today, yet, there it was.

My UFO sighting was in my Neighborhood in Culver City where I grew up ( With 5 of my friends and my Friends Mom and older Sister in 1976
