Sarah Palin resigning as Governor of Alaska

Hey............Infinite Inbred *****..........Gunny's waiting for ya in the Flame Zone.

Seems you've let your alligator mouth overload your canary ass.

I knew you'd have no substantive response. That's 'cause you're a blowhard, PubliusAdNauseam

So you felt that there would be grounds for a substantial response to a point which declares itself a fantasy?

A point wherein you project that a woman who dismantled one of the most powerful old-boy networks in the world; and a gal who withstood the full weight of the US Media,

LOL she did??? In most of the interviews I saw, she made herself look like an incompetent buffoon.

ROFL... Well its mighty strong of ya to vaguely refer to an interview you aren't familiar enough with to SPECIFICALLY CITE.

Now my thinking is that the primary reason your reticence is that if you cite the specific interview, you realize that your inference will quickly be eviscerated as little more than a baseless assertion of the deceitful variety... OKA: A lie.

who poured MONTHS OF SLANDER AND LIES, absurd personal denigrations and hysterical calumny upon her CHILDREN... and who closed a double digit race to 5 points... that THIS women would have had no means to compete with the world leaders, as President of the US...

Yeah...

Want a substantive response... post something of substance to which one can respond.

I already did and you ignored it in order to do your blowhard victory dance.

LOL... did ya? Looks more like a bout of temporal reticence designed to avoid CITING THAT SPECIFIC POSITION.

Of course, if you find you're able to find that substantive position... cite it and I'll be happy to feed it back to ya.

ROFLMNAO...

So instead of sending a PM, he sent his lil' ***** to spam another thread?

LOL... Funny stufff.

I actually wasted time reading through the first couple of pages. But I did learn that:

a. Palin is wonderful. She was destroyed by the media.

b. Libs are afraid of Palin running for president.

In response:

a. Bullshit. She chose to enter politics. She still will hold an interview with anyone willing to put her in print or on the TV. During the primaries, she proved to everyone (including her running mate) that she was not up to the VP slot, let alone the presidential one. She is nothing more than a whiny ex-homecoming queen who got by for years on a wink and a nod. Unfortunately the big show requires a bit more, and she was unable to rise to the occasion.

b. Yes. we are deathly afraid of palin. She is competent. She is wonderful. She is Reagan reincarnate (minus the penis...I think). Please, please, please. Whatever you do don't run her in 2012. We wouldn't stand a chance.

Yes, you are pant-wetting scared of Palin... and the way ya went about trying to deny it, pretty well demonstrates that.

And bro'er wabbit, she'll be there in '12 and you'll still be pant wetting scared and still unable to conceal it.

And BTW: as non sequiturs go... your response was a FABULOUS example... Not sig worthy, but still... quite impressive. Your conclusion set absolutely NO potential contest, to a damn thing you posted in the foundational premises... and while a lot of people think that's easy... you gotta be a complete imbecile to pull that off and few imbeciles of that unenviable caliber can type...

So BRAVO to you Sis! :clap2::clap2::clap2:

Oooh, there are so many smart people on this message board! they use big fancy words to put me in my place!

And you are so right. Your post was 100% accurate from begining to end! I'm scared to death of palin being the cnadidate in 2012. She's so smart and competant that she's sure to win this time!

(except that whole non-sequitar thing. It doesn't make a lot of sense to correctly identify it, compliment it's deliver, but then call me an imbecile for correctly pulling one off. Nice try though! You almost sounded smart!)

She quit one facet of a job which she could no longer serve effectively; one in which her continued presence was counter productive to her obligations and the charter of her office...

ROFL... NO? Well I expect that she'll help Alaskans in substantially larger ways by unseating anti-Americans in the US Federal Legislature and as the President of the US, than your flaccid little conclusion otherwise projects.

Willows perspective has no bearing on whether the move was good or not. It is her perspective; what's more you've offered NOTHING which would so much as contest Willows perspective, let alone discredit it.

If you're goal is to do so, I suggest you cite that perspective and speak to it directly, instead of this vague reference, and this broad rejection of it.

ROFLMNAO... It is hysterical to watch those who have demonstrated themselves to be VOID of any sense of sense, to speak that that which they feel doesn't 'make sense'... but to conclude with a statement which rests in UNBRIDLED RACISM, well that is just PRECIOUS...

She quit being governor or she quit "one facet".

The job of Governor was one facet of what she sees as her job, as a leader.

She quit that facet; for the reasons she stated... all of which were intellectually sound and despite the perspective you and the gals want to sling on that decision; actually shows a substantial amount of personal character; not to mention the faith and confidence she has in those she leaves to do that job...

You're entitled to rationalize around her stated reasoning; but you're not entitled to do so without those who disagree with that rationalization, contesting it...

Perhaps, but you provide so very little evidence of it... that I tend to doubt that you do much thinking, if any; your arguments tend towards the irrational and I've never read a single position which you've offered, wherein a sound basis in reasoning is present. As a general rule; where thought is being applied; a well reasoned, logically valid argument is present; and its usually one which rests on a sound intellectual basis.

With you... not so much...

Golly... lets see; First you assert the false premise that 'Palin had to quit'... Being false it's invalid reasoning; Second, setting that first fatal flaw aside; your premise suggests that those individuals you listed, held on to what they had; and did not relinquish the security of that position before taking on the challenge of a 'higher calling;' and that this represents a higher level of personal courage or character... and third, you desperately need to project that Palin's setting aside her Governorship was for reasons other than those she stated; now if you have tangible evidence to sustain that implication, post it; or concede by default that you know this to be false and are overtly attempting to deceive this forum through that projection, by your failure to do so.

And fourth, in all of that you misreprsent the facts... and try to correlate circumstances which are not conducive to such. Reagan ran for president as Governor of California in 68... He was not Governor of California in 76 or 80, when he came to the Federal executive in a landslide victory.

A silly-assed quip of no substantive basis... No where has Palin proved that she 'can't handle' being Governor; to the contrary; she has been one of the most effective governors in Alaska's history and if you'd like to argue that... bring it.

Good for you... if only there was a purpose of that flaccid point of irrelevance.

ROFL... again you project that she resigned because of problems SHE WAS ENDURING... when her statement in resigning CLEARLY, unambiguously demonstrates that her reasoning was based upon the problems that her presence was causing HER STATE.

Now again, IF YOU HAVE EVIDENCE WHICH SUSTAINS YOUR IMPLICATION ThAT SHE QUIT BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T HANDLE THE STRESS... POST IT! Or concede by default that you HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE and that as a result your position is little more than impotent, BASELESS CONJECTURE... through your failure to post that evidence.

I'll be monitoring your progress... best of luck to ya.

And before I hit submit, I just want to point out that how you write is very elitest. Here is an example. You wrote: to speak that which they feel. Who talks that way?

So it's elitists to speak in proper english and not end one's sentences on a preposition...

What's funny about that, is when you speak you come off as a DUMBASS... Dumbass.

Does that sound elitist to ya?

So... what? You didn't find a need to humiliate yourself through an attempted response to that position?

LOL... Hey I can't blame ya... you're carrying quite a lump of crap on that bruised self esteem as it is... so don't sweat it; you're doin' the best you can, God blessya.

The constituents of Alaska voted for her to perform as the chief executive of the state, imo until she fulfills that obligation she should not have moved on to other things which she felt were of greater importance. Palin let her supporters and the voters of Alaska down.

Sarah Palin, whoÂ’s stayed clear of the MSM since announcing sheÂ’d leave office, has kept up her online presence. Her latest Twitter:

Trying to keep up w/getting truth to u, like proof there’s no “FBI scandal”, here’s link Sarah Palin not under FBI investigation, agency spokesman says - Los Angeles Times Thanks, AK!

The link goes to this LA Times story, in which an FBI Special Agent Eric Gonzalez says unequivocally, “There is absolutely no truth to those rumors that we’re investigating her or getting ready to indict her.”

Still, most outlets had shied away from the story, which had been making the blog rounds, until her lawyer sent out a letter warning the press in general—and HuffPo, MSNBC, WaPo and the NYT in particular—not to touch the story, which pretty much compelled everyone, including POLITICO, to write about the rumors in the course of reporting on the letter.

Well the first step is learning to spell it...

Second, repeating the same tired argument doesn't actually reinforce it...

When you come up with a substantive argument, get back to me...

And you're entitled to that opinion... it's a perfectly well founded position. But it does not set aside her reasoning; which was also well founded. If she felt that she her presence was going to be an otherwise avoidable drain on the state; and decided that those she had appointed were solid players, who could carry out the same goals of her admistration; the goals which her constituents elected her to achieve, then she has made a very courageous decision; and one which could very well end up costing her, personally... thus she put her State and her office ahead of her own ambition and security.

Surely you can see where that is a reasonable position as well...

Liberals are about as scared of Sarah Palin as they were of Fred Thompson.

aw come on. He was really intimidating in those law and order episodes.

I was once watching Law and Order and during a Fred Thompson scene I just started confessing crimes I didn't commit aloud to the TV. THEN a McCain/Palin campaign commercial came on.

I've developed a bit of a nervous twitch ever since ....

The reason Sarah Palin is all over every news station in this country--is because liberals are scared to death of her--& unfortunately white males in the Republican party are too.

There is no politician right now that relates so easily to the general American public--(without a teleprompter) like Sarah Palin. She speaks their language FLUENTLY.

Her crowds are HUGE--she speaks from the heart--& it literally scares the hell out of these forked tongued Washington politicians-who can speak out of both sides of their mouths in the same sentence,---regardless of the D or R behind their names.

Basically--Sarah Palin is the female version of Ronald Reagan--& everyone knows it.
