Santos Expelled from House

Gay minority voted out by a unanimous vote by Dimwingers, then they all cheered.

Thank you for this post, which proves in SPADES the ways you will lie and twist and deflect from the truth, in order to defend the indefensible.

If Santos were a Democrat, you'd be calling him a "drag queen", a "pedo" and a "groomer", and in fact, one of the Ethics Committee complaints was that he sexually harassed staffers, and demanding his removal. Hell, you want the members of the Squad ejected from the House even though none of them has been charged with any crimes.

But because Santos is a Republican, you're calling out Democrats for "expelling a gay minority" without due process. You don't even care whether or not he's guilty of the charges. If Santos was being expelled for being gay, you might have a point, but Santos is being expelled for being admitted he's a liar and a crook and stealing taxpayers' money, not for being gay.

You use the same kind of arguments in defending George Santos, that you use in excusing Donald Trump's worst criminal excesses. Not once have you made a case for either man being innocent of all charges. Both men have confessed to their crimes on national television. But you contend that neither man should be punished for crimes they've confessed to.

Trump has admitted in tax filings he received over $1 billion dollars in cash from over 100 foreign bank accounts and entities, since leaving office. But you want to impeach Joe Biden, because Donald Trump told you his family received $20 million in bribes from China and the Ukraine while Joe wasn't even in office.

There is no evidence whatsoever, that the money Hunter Biden and his associates received, were in any way as a result of criminal behaviour. All funds were declared and all taxes paid on the money. There is no probable cause for anyone to get a search warrant, and there is NOTHING to back up Republican Party claiims.

Weeee the silly name calling. You closet case Manly-boy/girls always assume those types of attacks sting. Its projection -- :auiqs.jpg:

Fact is no conviction of a crime is needed to expel a member. The types and amount of rule violations here are record setting.
Dainty ^ still flailing, failing and flopping.

What you don’t grasp about expulsion is voluminous. And you’re too trite to even learn about it.

Because Facts Matter:

Quotes: The resolution to expel Santos passed in a 311-114 vote — easily exceeding a required two-thirds threshold for removal — with numerous Republican lawmakers turning against Santos in what was the third effort to expel the New York congressman this year. Two Democrats voted present, and eight lawmakers did not vote.

Nearly half of House Republicans voted to oust Santos even though some GOP leaders voiced concerns about setting a precedent by expelling a lawmaker who had not been convicted of a crime

The vote followed the release two weeks ago of a 56-page Ethics Committee report that accused Santos of an array of misconduct — including stealing money from his campaign, deceiving donors about how contributions would be used, creating fictitious loans and engaging in fraudulent business dealings. Santos, the report alleges, spent hefty sums on personal enrichment, including visits to spas and casinos, shopping trips to high-end stores and payments to a subscription site that contains adult content.

11 of the most scathing allegations in the House ethics report about Santos

Embattled Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) was expelled from Congress on Friday on a bipartisan vote.
The effort — which received both Republican and Democratic support — came after House investigators found “substantial evidence” that Santos knowingly violated ethics guidelines, House rules and criminal laws, according to a report released by the House Ethics Committee this month.

After the report was released, Santos — who has for months faced demands to resign from several of his House colleagues — announced that he would not seek reelection next year.

The 56-page report details a sweeping array of alleged misconduct. According to investigators, Santos allegedly stole money from his campaign, deceived donors, reported fictitious loans and engaged in fraudulent business dealings. The congressman, the report alleges, spent hefty sums on personal enrichment, including visits to spas and casinos, shopping trips to high-end stores, and payments to a subscription site that contains adult content.

My, my. George Santos becomes only the sixth member in history to be expelled from the House. It would seem the latest crop of GOP lawmakers have been scraped from the bottom of the barrel, so hopefully this is some sign of reforms to come within the chamber.

Thoughts?
Will expelling Santos reduce the price of groceries or gas for my car?
