There is not a high number of suicides

It is a high number of suicidal children who have been treated

It really is a case of right wing getting a story and twisting to make it sound worse.

Search indicates stores are saying they commit suicide and others are just saying that children are having suicidal tendencies and being treated for it.

They are using it as a reason to reopen schools

It is understandable that school for children is a major part of their lives as long as they are not being bullied by others and other mini dramas of school life.

It also could be the COVID 19 crisis which has affected everyone including children.
